Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH
Born on December 28, 1962 in Višegrad.
Elementary school completed in 1976 in Višegrad and the High Grammar School in 1980. He graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Sarajevo University in 1987. Master degree in technical science received from the Faculty for Transport and Communications in 1999. Doctoral dissertation successfully defended on December 14, 2006 at the Faculty for Transport and Communications of the Sarajevo University.
Since 1987 until 1992 used to be employed with IPSI - Institute for Transport in Sarajevo. He was on the position of the Director General of the Public Company Railways of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 1993 until 1998, when he assumed position of the General Manager in „Energoinvest“ Stock Co. Sarajevo held until 2002. Since 2002 until 2003 he was Adviser of the General Manager of „Energoinvest“ Stock Co. Sarajevo, and since 2003 until 2007 he held position of the Federal Minister of Transport and Communications.
He is Senior Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty for Transport and Communications.
Member of the Army of RBiH from 1992 to 1993.
Since 1990 politically engaged, member of the Executive Committee and Presidency of the Democratic Action Party (SDA). Used to be Representative in the House of the Representatives of the Parliament of F BiH in two terms. Used to be President of the Presidency of the Football Club „Željezni?ar“ and member of the BiH Olympic Committee.
Awarded „Golden Lilly“ of the Army of R BiH.
Married, father of two.
Powers of the Prime Minister:
Exercising policy and implementation of laws of the Federal Government, which includes ensuring execution of decisions made by the Courts of the Federation;
Proposing to relieve of duty the President of the Federation, in accordance with Article IV B.3. (2) of the Constitution of the Federation of BiH;
Proposing and making recommendations in the field of legislation;
Preparing the budget proposal for the Parliament of the FBiH.

Borjana Kristo, Former President of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina
According to the Article V of the Constitution, the Presidency consists of three members: one Bosniak and one Croat elected from the Federation and one Serb elected from the Republika Srpska. Together, they serve one four-year term, rotating every 8 months.
The member with the most votes becomes the chairman (the President of the Presidency) unless he or she was the incumbent chairman at the time of the election, but the chairmanship rotates every eight months, to ensure equality.
